"Dear doctor and staff, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Dr. T.D Bose's Agasthya ayurvedic medical centre. Ezhupunna south, Thuravur, Alappuzha, doctors and staff members for the devoted service they delivered to me during my stay from 2nd Feb,2023 to 16 feb,2023(14days) to cure my IVDP (Sciatica pain ) I was severely suffering from sciatica, lower back pain(L4,L5),most of the time shooting leg pain worsen than back pain, a change in sensation of the leg and foot, muscle spasm at back and legs, weakness, numbness in foot/leg fingers, was not able to walk. Iam working abroad (UAE), and doctors there, recommended for operation. I was with AGASTHYA. for 14 days(treatment duration depends the severity of the patient condition.)I was undergone Marma abhyangam; massages to back and body, Pizhichil and Njavarakkizhi.. Treatment starts at morning and ends within 1 or 2 hours. Advised to walk each day after treatment ,and morning + evening,. My sincere thanks to Dr. TD Bose, Dr. Sreeju bose, Dr.Sreedev ,Panchakarma therapists; Mr Rajmon and Mr.Bijeesh who treated me ,offered an excellent delivery. They promptly came, regularly monitored all aspects of my medical needs. In addition, I was very impressed with the dignity and respect of the nursing staff extended to me and other patients. Kindness , professional ,and homely feel came through to me with the food prepare/delivery staff, cleaning staff, who asked me how I was feeling each day. A wave, a smile, made me feel like everyone was pulling for my recovery. Food quality was good.I was alone and my stay felt homely. I feel if they provide "WIFI" might be good. I was totally cured after 14 days.I took another 15 days compulsory rest at home and back to my routine jobs at UAE now. Now a days we often hear the negatives about the medical system. "Agasthiya Ayurveda medical centre On 3/3/3025 We went to this Agasthiya Ayurvedic Medical Centre ,because of my wife suffered from Diabetes,Arthritis and cough ,for all these took treatment in Canadian Hospitals but not cured. I and my wife had said problems,after Agasthiya treatment ,because of all staffs including kitchen, men and women helping staffs all were with the smiling face did their work, because of all Doctors and staff’s behaviour, we recovered faster. We were satisfied Mr & Mrs.Dr.Bose and Dr. Sreedev K. P. "It was a wonderful and rejuvenating experience at Agasthya Ayurvedic Medical centre, Ezhupunna during my stay and Treatment . A team of Doctors under Dr. Bose and staff members are doing wonders in ayurveda treatment there. It was really a homely atmosphere, a home away from home. Even though my treatment was for 18 days, I stayed back for 21 days, to be with my friends some more days there. Everybody in the hospital are friendly, loving and service oriented. Now my 18 days treatment is over and I am fully recovered from pain and stiffness. I am able to walk a long distance also. I was admitted in Agasthya Ayurvedic Medical Centre due to pain and stiffness in the left leg .As per the Ortho Surgeon, I was having Vertibral disc prolapse in L3. I have been suffering for the same continuously for two months, consulting allopathy doctors. After my check up by the chief Physician Dr.T.D.Bose, I was advised to under go 18 days' treatment there. The treatment in Agasthya is really a wonderful process; very systematic and in a well planned way. It includes, Oil massage and steam bath, Oil Dhara and finally Njavara kizhi. In addition to this, seperate ayurvedic medicines were also given. The doctors in the hospital Dr.T D Bose,the Chief physician, Dr.Sreedev and Dr.Mrs.Sreeju Bose are well experienced in their profession, and very dedicated in their service. So also their technical staff in massage and kizhi section like Mr.Sivan, Mr.Remesan, Mr. Bijeesh , Mr.Rajumon, Mr.Justine and Mr. Maniyappan in the male massage section. These people are also very experienced in their profession . There is seperate treatment section for ladies also, done by lady experts. In the office also a group of jovial, smart , energetic and service oriented youths are posted to attend all the patient/customer requirements. It will be an incomplete note, if I don't mention some of the few gentlemen in the office, like Mr.Vibheesh, Mr.Amosh and Mr.Arun. Rooms and surroundings are kept neet and cleen always by the cleaning staff. Brakefast and lunch are Kerala style as it is related to ayurveda, I feel. But for dinner it is chappatti and vegetable kurma and egg curry once in a week. I really enjoyed the food. I would suggest Agasthya Ayurvedic Medical Centre for those who are suffering from vertibral problems, arthritis, spondylosis, leg related problems etc. Before going for an operation you can definitely approach this centre . The experience I had during my time there was nothing short of Great feel, and I am immensely thankful for the outstanding care and treatment provided. From the moment I walked in with excruciating pain on the entire left side of my body, from neck to toe, along with severe back, neck, and shoulder pain, I was met with warmth and professionalism. The magic truly happened during my treatment at Agastya Ayurvedic Hospital, as within a short span, all my pain vanished, leaving me feeling like a brand new person. I am particularly impressed with the level of expertise and dedication shown by therapists Raju chettan, Vijeesh chettan and Justin. They were not only highly skilled but also incredibly attentive, making sure I felt comfortable and at ease throughout my stay. Additionally, I had gained weight due to taking steroids for inflammation prior to my visit, but the 21-day treatment plan included a carefully curated diet that not only helped me shed the extra weight but also offered delicious and tasty meals. "Initially we got treatment for my wife back pain, knees & migraine issues in the year 2009 at Agastya. That time also, it was an amazing experience. Post treatment, the patient needs to take proper rest as advised by the Chief Physician. My wife followed each directives of the Doctor & intern she was cured completely. Off late both of us were experiencing some back pain & knee pain issues. So both of us visited this place once again in Sept/Oct 2024. We got treatment for 14 days. Post treatment, Now we are taking proper rest for three months as advised by the Doctor. "I was suffering from severe lower back pain with a shooting pain to my left leg and was diagnosed with dic prolapses in lower back L4, L5 discs. I live in Finland and doctors then prescribed me a lot of painkillers and suggested stretching exercises as the condition was not deemed bad enough to be operated immediately. Considering my pain gradually become worse and hearing extremely good reviews about Agasthya medical centre, I decided to give it a try. I was in Agasthya for a 17-days treatment (they have different treatment lengths depending on the severity of the condition). This included massages in the morning and medicines few times during the day. The staff was really friendly and the food provided was of really high quality. The hospital itself is rather remotely located; only a few minutes walk to the beautiful paddy fields of Kerala. The internet connection was poor (maybe it's better these days). In hindsight, it was indeed a positive aspect. I spent most of my time reading after the morning massage and did long walks in the evening. After these 17 days, pain in my left leg disappeard almost immediately. Over the next few months the lower back stiffness also improved considerably. Year from the treatment, I started playing football again. Life was finally normal. Although, I do have a stiff lower back and hamstrings these days, possibly due to the history of herniated discs and long hours of sitting at work, simple stretching helps relive it. Over all, I highly recommend Agasthya ayurvedic medical centre. I had my concerns of the science behind this ancient, unconventional treatment methodology at the beginning. Considering that my condition only improved, I guess I have to accept that the doctors and the staff in Agasthya really do know what they are doing."
