Our Story — Three Decades of Healing
Agasthya Ayurvedic Medical Centre was founded in the late 1990s by Dr. T.D. Bose, a third-generation Ayurvedic practitioner who trained under the legendary Marmacharya Shri Sudheer Vaidhyar. Bringing that deep expertise in Marma Chikitsa to his own practice, Dr. Bose established Agasthya with a singular focus — and it has since grown into a NABH-certified Ayurvedic hospital.
Dr. Bose's vision was clear from the start: offer an authentic Ayurvedic alternative for patients who were told surgery was their only option. Over 30 years later, that vision has helped more than 10,000 patients avoid surgery and recover through traditional healing.
Nestled in the peaceful village of Ezhupunna, Alappuzha — surrounded by Kerala's serene backwaters and paddy fields — the hospital provides the perfect environment for rest, recovery, and rejuvenation.
